As we enter the Easter Season with your little ones, we hope you enjoy teaching them about the wonderful Good News of Easter Sunday, “Jesus is Alive!” May you be blessed richly for serving God’s little ones!
Easter Lily’s made from Child’s Traced Hand
Trace each child’s hand on white construction paper. Be sure to write their name and date on the bottom of the traced handprint. Cut out the handprint, and using small scissors, curl the finger tips outward from the palm.(The same technique as curling ribbon. Roll the bottom of the handprint to form a “lily”, use a stapler to secure and then wrap in tape. Use the lily’s on your bulletin board, or as seen here during an Easter Chapel, placed on a large cross that was covered with palm fronds. You can add pipe cleaners to the center to create the pistils. These are also great for Mother’s Day!!!
But the angel answered and said to the woman, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” Matthew 27:5 &6
