CDEA's 18th Annual Conference was the second in a three-year emphasis on The Love of Learning. This year we will take an in-depth look Through the Eyes of a Professional and be ever reminded to keep our focus on the unique way God has designed children to learn and the critical role teachers and administrators play in a child’s multi-faceted development.

Shining Star Nominations Now Being Accepted!

Have you or your Christian early childhood program made notable contributions to children and/or families through quality initiatives, services, or events?

In an attempt to recognize the efforts of those actively demonstrating their dedication to serving young children and their families, the CDEA is seeking *Shining Star Award Nominations for individuals and programs who meet the following criteria:

1. Current Member of the CDEA

2. Christian Early Childhood Program

The Shining Star Individual Award Winner receives a three-day and two-night stay in an all-equipped cabin at Elite Resorts in Ocala, FL. The Shining Star Program Award Winner receives free meeting space and 6 hotel rooms for an overnight stay at the Wyndham Jacksonville Riverwalk in Jacksonville, FL. The Shining Star Awards will be presented at the CDEA’s 18th Annual Conference on October 8, 2011.

Shining Star Award Nomination Form

*Shining Star Award Nominations must be submitted by administrators or staff working at the Nominee’s Christian early childhood program. Previous award winners are eligible for nomination every three years. This Shining Star Award Nomination Form must be accompanied by an essay of no more than two-pages which includes a detailed description of quality initiatives, services, or events provided for children and/or families or early childhood professionals. Shining Star Nominations will be accepted through August 15th. Please scan and email the Shining Star Award Nomination Form and accompanying essay to training@cdealliance.org or FAX them to 904.573.8839.
