Good by Summer, Hello New School Year!

Happy August everyone! We know this is one of the busiest times of the year as you are preparing classrooms, lesson plans and getting ready to welcome your new students! I remember well this special time of year when I knew that little ones would soon be walking through the door to enter the world of Preschool! My heart was excited about “WHO” God had divinely placed in my care! Would the children like me? What about the families? Will I do a good job? Will I be ready for Spring Break by September? LOL! It’s an annual passage we all go through, and as a survivor of many, many years…I can assure you that GOD will be faithful to help you do the very best job! I often imagine that HE is smiling NOW as we all begin this new school year! Let’s lean into HIM and HIS WORD as we start this journey in 2019-2020! Exciting times are ahead for all of us, but when the days get long and weary, please remember these things:

We are praying for YOU and your students!

God will be your Provider for ALL THINGS, I repeat, all things!

Lean into HIS WORD, read it, sing it, post it, believe it!

Ask God to daily supply your needs! He promises to do just that!

One final note, may we all have the attributes of Christ in and out of the classroom. May we honor the Lord by honoring the children! May we love and care for each child as if we were serving little Jesus!  May we have a “Reverence for childhood” and trust the Lord to work through us so that we are laying a strong Spiritual Foundation in the hearts of our little ones.

Remember the verse in Luke 2:52…”And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and favor with man”! May your little ones learn much about the Lord from you this year! May their families experience the fragrance of Christ in your classroom, and may YOU be richly blessed as you continue your ministry for the Lord, and most of all…may our Heavenly Father lavish HIS blessings of Grace, Love and Peace upon you!

Serving Together,

Julie
